Launched in 1972 and 1973, the Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11 probes carried with them on their missions past the asteroid belt a plaque depicting their origin and the species that created them. Perhaps someday they'll be discovered by an alien civilization.

In the meantime, though, you can discover this 3" x 4-1/2" replica on your Christmas tree. It's made of gold-anodized aluminum and walnut, laser-engraved on the front with the design, and on the back with the mission names and dates.
